Fern Botanical Name : Athyrium 'Regal Red' A royal tapestry is woven into this spectacular Painted Fern boasting dark, violet-red interiors edged with immaculate silver providing a mix of foliage color that makes it rise above the station or a mere common Painted Fern. The soft textured fronds are delightfully ruffled with twisted pinnules creating a fluffed look. With its texture and color, 'Regal Red' is a great contrast to other shade plants and makes a breathtaking statement when grouped. This trouble-free plant will be sure to please, thriving in part shade and tough enough to be drought resistant once established. Matures 8-12" tall x 18-24" wide. Hardy to Zone 4. |
