Famously fragrant shrubby perennial.
Makes a dense mound of aromatic gray-green foliage on a
semi-drought resistant plant. True lavender is called "Queen of
the Herbs" since it matches usefulness with beauty & provides one
of the most pleasing of all garden scents. It is a major source of
essential oils, being one of the sweetest smelling of the
lavenders. Fragrant, deep lavender flowers bloom over an extended
period from late spring through summer.
Matures 12-15" tall x 2-3‘ wide.
Hardy to Zone 4.
